Her efforts helped bridge the information gap and brought financial awareness to her village.

Expanding Horizons: Agriculture Initiatives

Morzina’s work extended beyond financial literacy to agriculture. In 2022, her dedication and expertise earned her the role of Community Service Provider (CSP) at SeSTA. She received training on organic manures and different agricultural scientific practices, spearheading initiatives in seed distribution, organic farming, and agricultural equipment. In 2023, Morzina fulfilled one of her childhood dreams by becoming a substitute teacher at the South Boitmari Model Academy School in Boitamari block of Bongaigaon district. This role allowed her to directly impact the next generation, fostering a love for learning and personal development among her students.

Champions of Change Program

In January 2024, Morzina was interviewed by the CII Foundation for the Champions of Change Program. Out of 50 women from six different districts, only 15 were selected, including Morzina from the Chapar-Salkocha Block. This recognition highlighted her outstanding contributions to community development and women’s empowerment.
Morzina is committed to promoting hundreds of other leaders like herself, focusing on women’s empowerment, financial literacy, and livelihood. Her journey continues to inspire many, showing the transformative power of education, dedication, and community support. Morzina extends her heartfelt gratitude to her husband, family, and in-laws for their unwavering support. She also acknowledges SeSTA for guiding her towards a dignified and well-sustained life.
