SeSTA Green Million Campaign
You have tossed Rs. 30 for a packet of chips, the wrapper will pollute for 200 years.
Let’s plant something that will outlast both with the same Rs 30
We’ve all done it – torn open that 30-rupee packet of plastic, devoured it in minutes, and tossed the wrapper without a second thought. The snack is gone, but the plastic isn’t. It lingers in our soil, rivers, and landfills – quietly polluting the Earth for the next 200 years.
But what if that same 30 rupee could do something better?
Something that heals instead of harms?
What if it planted a sapling instead of leaving behind plastic?
What if it grew into shade for a tired traveller, fruit for a child, or strength for a flood-prone field?
This isn’t just about trees. It’s about small acts of change, rooted in what we often ignore. A snack-sized swap- plastic for a plant, guilt for growth, wrappers for roots. Spend your next 20 rupees on something the Earth will thank you for.
