SeSTA brings forth professionals with varied skills and experience in fields of environmental science, agriculture, management, economics, information technology and social work

Active participation of every citizen in the development processes; irrespective of his/her caste, religion and ethnicity is crucial for sustainable development. SeSTA plays the role of a facilitator to bring the desired change with a group of well educated, pro-poor, caring and sensible professionals. The team at SeSTA is an eclectic mix of young and experienced professionals with a wide array of functional and domain expertise. The family has 22 members now and is growing.

Pradyut Bhattacharjee

Executive Director

Pradyut is a Bachelor in Technology in Computer Science from Assam Engineering College, Jalukbari. He is been working in the grassroots for the last 13 years in Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and the North-East India. He has extensive experience of working on Social Mobilisation, Capacity Building and Institution Building and mentoring young people.

Aswini Bhattacharjya


Aswini has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Guwahati University . He had worked for last 15 years for promoting livelihood with the tribal's and disadvantaged communities particularly adivasi women of Jharkhand and Bodos and Koch Rajbangsi's of Assam with PRADAN.

Parag Boruah

Director, Strategy and Programme

Parag has a Masters degree in Environmental Science and has worked with PRADAN for 4 years while promoting livelihoods for Tribal and Dalit families in Madhya Pradesh. Before joining SeSTA he worked with India Soy Forum (ISF), Bhopal and Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal. He also did some consultancy assignment for Access Development Services (ADS) and M.P.Women Poultry Producers Company Pvt. Ltd. Currently he has been deputed as the Managing Director, SeSTA Development Services (SDS), a sister organisation of SeSTA.

Syed Lutfur Rehman

Team Leader

Lutfur has a Bachelors degree in Agriculture Sciences from Assam Agriculture University. He worked with PRADAN for 7 years in Jharkhand before joining SeSTA in 2013. Mr Rahman has deep experience in Community mobilization and agriculture extension. He was involved in promoting a vibrant Agri-Horticulture Production Cluster in Gumla district of Jharkhand.

Debasish Nath

Team Leader

Debasish is a Masters in Mass Communication from Tezpur University. He has worked in places like Kalahandi district of Odisha and has 4 years of experience working in the grassroots.

Arjit Das


Arijit is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering & Technology (DUIET) and has been working in the Development Sector for 2 years.

Prakash Lakra


Prakash is an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Assam Downtown University and has been working with SeSTA since 2014. He was also associated with an NGO called People's Action for Development in Dhemaji district.

Debasish Acharjee

Executive (Finance, Accounts and Administration)

Debasish is a Graduate in Commerce from Bongaigaon College. He is associated with SeSTA since its inception.
